MADE ON YOUTUBE
At Modicum, I was tasked with creating content animations for YouTube's annual event unveiling the latest tools to help push the boundaries of creator innovation.
Creating motion to express an in-app experience can be daunting. Often, companies choose "pretty" over "succinct" and "clear" resulting in overstimulating the audience and losing the overall message.
There were three main reveals including Dream Screen, Create, and Aloud which you will find below. We followed a script (that often changed) while moving in a fast-paced environment, making sure visuals were premium, fun, and engaging while staying true to the YouTube event branding, UX, and clearly communicated the speaker's message in a way that would excited and delight the audience.
INTRODUCING DREAM SCREEN
To streamline the production process, YouTube launched a new mobile app called YouTube Create. Currently in beta on Android in select markets, this free app can be used to make Shorts or longer videos, allowing creators to edit, soundtrack, add captions and more — all from their mobile phones.

INSPIRATION WITH ALOUD
YouTube also revealed Aloud, an AI-powered dubbing tool creators can use to expand their audiences by dubbing of their content into languages beyond there own. The tool provides professional dubbing they wouldn't otherwise have access to.
